चे ग्वेरा कैसे बने क्रांतिक्रारी?
14 जून 1928 को अर्जेंटीना के रोसारियो शहर में एक संपन्न परिवार में चे गेवारा का जन्म हुआ। उन्हें बचपन से ही पढ़ने का बहुत शौक था। किताबों में डूबे रहने वाले चे को जब समय मिलता था तो, वे समाज के बारे में सोचते। युवावस्था तक पहुंचते-पहुंचते उन्होंने 3000 से ज्यादा किताबें पढ़ ली थी। चे अक्सर कहते थे कि एक क्रांतिकारी का पहला कर्तव्य अपने आप को शिक्षित करना है। उन्होंने मेडिकल की पढ़ाई की, क्योंकि वो डॉक्टर बनकर लोगों की मदद करना चाहते थे।
मोटर साइकिल डायरीज़ किसने लिखी?
चे जब बड़े हुए तो उन्होंने अपने दोस्तों के साथ लेटिन अमेरिका की मोटर साइकिल यात्रा का फैसला किया। इस यात्रा ने चे की जिंदगी को बदल दिया। उन्होंने देखा कि कैसे अमीर और गरीब के बीच की खाई ने इंसानियत को कुचल दिया है। उन्होंने गरीब किसानों की आंखों में बेबसी और अमीरों के अत्याचार देखे। इस यात्रा ने चे को सिखाया कि शोषण और असमानता की वजह से उनके देश में गरीब और दरिद्रता फैली हुई है औऱ गरीबी केवल एक देश की समस्या नहीं है। उन्होंने अपने अनुभवों को डायरी में लिखा जो बाद में मोटर साइकिल डायरीज़ के नाम से पूरी दुनिया में प्रसिद्ध हुर्ई।
चे ग्वेरा और फिदेल कास्त्रो की मुलाकात कैसे हुई?
यात्रा से लौटने के बाद चे गेवारा ने ये तय किया कि वे अपनी जिंदगी दबे-कुचले और बेबस लोगों के लिए समर्पित करेंगे। उनकी इस सोच ने उन्हें क्यूबा की क्रांति में शामिल होने के लिए प्रेरित किया। 1955 में चे गेवारा ने मशहूर क्रांतिकारी फिदेल कास्त्रो से मुलाकात की। फिदेल ने चे से पूछा कि क्रांति के रास्ते पर वो डरेंगे तो नहीं, इस पर चे ने कहा कि वो घुटनों पर बैठकर जीने से बेहतर खड़े होकर गोली खाना पसंद करेंगे।
चे और फिदेल कास्त्रो ने क्यूबा में गुरिल्ला युद्ध से क्रांति की
इसके बाद दोनों ने मिलकर क्यूबा को अमेरिका के कठपुतली तानाशाह बातिस्ता से आज़ाद कराने का संकल्प लिया। चे ने कास्त्रो के साथ मिलकर गुरिल्ला युद्ध का नेतृत्व किया। क्यूबा के जंगलों में क्रूर बतिस्ता सैनिकों से क्रांतिकारियों का भीषण युद्ध हुआ। ये लड़ाई कई सालों तक चली। आखिरकार चे और फीदेल कास्त्रो के नेतृत्व में क्यूबा की क्रांति सफल हुई और तानाशाह बातिस्ता को उखाड़ फेंका गया। 1959 में क्यूबा आज़ाद हुआ और फिदेल कास्त्रो राष्ट्रपति बने।
चे को नेशनल बैंक ऑफ क्यूबा का अध्यक्ष बनाया गया और बाद में वे उद्योग मंत्री भी बने। चे गेवारा ने क्यूबा में शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव किए। उन्होंने एक ऐसी व्यवस्था बनाई जहां हर व्यक्ति समान हो।

क्यूबा की सफलता के बाद भी चे शांत नहीं बैठे। उनका मानना था कि क्रांति सिर्फ एक देश तक सीमित नहीं रह सकती। वे अफ्रीका और बोलिविया जैसे देशों में भी क्रांति का अलख जगाने गए। गेवारा ने 1965 में क्यूबा छोड़ दिया और कुछ महीने के लिए अफ्रीका गए। उन्होंने कॉन्गो में बागियों को गुरिल्ला युद्ध की ट्रेनिंग दी। 1966 में वो गुप्त रूप से क्यूबा लौट आए। क्यूबा से वो बोलिविया गए और वहां बागी सेना का नेतृत्व किया।
चे ग्वेरा की मृत्यु कैसे हुई? चे की हत्या में CIA की क्या भूमिका थी?
9 अक्टूबर 1967 को बोलिविया की सेना ने अमेरिकी खुफिया एजेंसी सीआईए की मदद से चे गेवारा को पकड़ लिया। जब CIA के एजेंट उन्हें गोली मारने जा रहे थे तो वो डर से थर-थर कांप रहे थे। ऐसे में चे ज़ोर से चिल्लाए और कहा, “मैं जानता हूं कि तुम मुझे मारने के लिए यहां आए हो। गोली मारो, कायरों, तुम महज़ एक आदमी को मारने जा रहे हो”. इसके बाद चली ताबड़तोड़ गोलियों ने चे की ललकार को हमेशा के लिए ख़ामोश कर दिया लेकिन उनकी मौत ने उन्हें अमर बना दिया।
चे ग्वेरा को दुनिया क्यों याद करती है?
अमेरिका चे गेवारा का मारने में सफल हो गया लेकिन उनके क्रांति के सपने को नहीं मार सका। चे गेवारा एक नाम नहीं, बल्कि एक विचारधारा बन गए। उनकी तस्वीर आज भी संघर्ष और क्रांति का प्रतीक मानी जाती है। चे गेवारा ने हमें सिखाया कि अन्याय के खिलाफ खड़ा होना और अपनी पूरी ताकत से लड़ना, यही सच्ची इंसानियत है। सारी दुनिया के क्रांतिकारी आज भी उनसे प्रेरणा लेते हैं। अन्याय की खिलाफ उनकी जंग को हम सलाम करते हैं।

He said, “If you start trembling with anger when injustice happens, then we are comrades”. How did Che Guevara become a revolutionary?
Che Guevara was born on 14 June 1928 in a rich family in Rosario city of Argentina. He was very fond of reading since childhood. Che, who was immersed in books, used to think about society whenever he got time. By the time he reached adolescence, he had read more than 3000 books. Che often used to say that the first duty of a revolutionary is to educate himself. He studied medicine because he wanted to help people by becoming a doctor. Who wrote Motorcycle Diaries? When Che grew up, he decided to go on a motorcycle trip to Latin America with his friends. This trip changed Che’s life. He saw how the gap between the rich and the poor has crushed humanity.
He saw helplessness in the eyes of poor farmers and the atrocities of the rich. This trip taught Che that poverty and misery are spread in his country due to exploitation and inequality and poverty is not the problem of only one country. He wrote his experiences in a diary, which later became famous all over the world as Motorcycle Diaries. How did Che Guevara and Fidel Castro meet?
After returning from the trip, Che Guevara decided that he would dedicate his life to the oppressed and helpless people. This thought of his inspired him to join the Cuban revolution. In 1955, Che Guevara met the famous revolutionary Fidel Castro. Fidel asked Che if he would be afraid on the path of revolution, to which Che replied that he would prefer to get shot standing rather than live on his knees.
Che and Fidel Castro brought about a revolution in Cuba through guerrilla warfare
After this, both of them together resolved to liberate Cuba from America’s puppet dictator Batista. Che led the guerrilla war along with Castro. The revolutionaries fought a fierce battle with the cruel Batista soldiers in the jungles of Cuba. This battle lasted for many years. Finally, the Cuban revolution succeeded under the leadership of Che and Fidel Castro and dictator Batista was overthrown. Cuba became independent in 1959 and Fidel Castro became the President.
Che was made the President of the National Bank of Cuba and later he also became the Minister of Industry. Che Guevara made important changes in the field of education and health in Cuba. He created a system where every person is equal.
Che Guevara left power for international revolution
Even after the success of Cuba, Che did not sit quiet. He believed that revolution cannot be limited to just one country. He also went to countries like Africa and Bolivia to awaken the spirit of revolution. Guevara left Cuba in 1965 and went to Africa for a few months. He trained the rebels in Congo in guerrilla warfare. In 1966, he returned to Cuba secretly. From Cuba, he went to Bolivia and led the rebel army there.
How did Che Guevara die? What was the role of the CIA in Che’s murder?
On 9 October 1967, the Bolivian army captured Che Guevara with the help of the American intelligence agency CIA. When the CIA agents were going to shoot him, he was trembling with fear. In such a situation, Che shouted loudly and said, “I know you have come here to kill me. Shoot me, cowards, you are going to kill just one man”. The bullets that followed silenced Che’s challenge forever but his death made him immortal.
Why does the world remember Che Guevara?
America succeeded in killing Che Guevara but could not kill his dream of revolution. Che Guevara became not just a name, but an ideology. His picture is still considered a symbol of struggle and revolution. Che Guevara taught us that standing against injustice and fighting with all your might is true humanity. Revolutionaries all over the world still take inspiration from him. We salute his fight against injustice.
